Energy Improvement Corporation (EIC) is a New York State non-profit, local development corporation that operates EIC OPEN C-PACE for the benefit of its member municipalities, which include counties and cities across New York State, as well as towns in Westchester County.

Presented by Sarah Smiley, Director of Municipal Membership and Transaction Manager for Energy Improvement Corporation (EIC) and Robin Finnerty, Deputy Director of Monroe County Industrial Development Corporation. Ms. Smiley joined EIC in 2017 and manages the rollout of Open C-PACE, EIC’s open market commercial PACE program.  Both Ms. Smiley and Ms. Finnerty work with local governments and community stakeholders to activate this innovative finance tool that can transform buildings through energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy and that encourages sustainable development.  In October of 2020, Sarah took on the role of Transactions Manager, working with Open C-PACE capital providers to facilitate the finance application and closing process. We hope you will join us for an informative luncheon program followed by an open forum for questions and answers about the program.
