Join NAIOP on October 6th at The Buffalo History Museum for breakfast networking and a panel discussion on 'The State of the WNY Region'. Panelists include Mayor Byron Brown of Buffalo, Mayor Robert Restaino of Niagara Falls and Town of Amherst Supervisor Brian Kulpa. The discussion will be moderated by A.J. Baynes Jr, President & CEO of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and NAIOP, Upstate New York Chapter President Dan Leonard, Associate Principal at WENDEL Companies.

The Honorable Byron W. Brown was sworn in to a fifth term as the 62nd Mayor of New York’s second-largest city in January of 2022. Mayor Brown has been a champion of Buffalo’s revival, with a vision that embraces inclusiveness, equity, and opportunity. Read Mayor Brown's full bio here.

Robert Restaino is the Mayor of Niagara Falls, the City in which he was born and raised. From the beginning, Robert always intended to stay in Niagara Falls and practice law in his hometown. He has dedicated his personal and professional life to improving and strengthening his home – the Niagara Falls community. Read Mayor Restaino's full bio here.

Brian J. Kulpa was elected as Supervisor of the Town of Amherst in November 2017. He is an accomplished public servant having served in additional chief executive positions as well as a public policy positions as Mayor of the Village of Williamsville, and several terms on the Board of Trustees of the Village of Williamsville. During his tenure at the Village, Kulpa led American Public Works Association and American Planning Association award-winning projects.
